Outside Pressure

Welcome to Outside Pressure. My name is Andrew Waltz. This web site will be dedicated to my sports rants and analysis. I am a Philadelphia sports fan – something you’ve probably already figured out. I am the Philadelphia Phillies contributor for Baseball News Source, and most of my Phillies material will be posted there. For everything else sports, follow me here! If you wanna get ahold of me, I’m on Twitter (@OutsidePressure) and you can leave a comment anywhere on the site.

  1. Hey Andy!

Sorry it took me a couple days to get back to you. You seem to be a good, knowledgable sports writer, so no advice really needed there. I’d say get more color in the background to make your blog more visually appealing. Other than that, I don’t really have any advice. A lot of my blog traffic came from an article I wrote about Tim Tebow that got freshly pressed, and since then it’s continued to have people look over it. I just started my blog two weeks ago, so I’m still relatively new to this and discovering more and more each day. So, continue blogging and try to utilize more of what WordPress has to offer. Good luck, and I’ll be following your stuff.

  2. Hey Ryan. What are the chances your Web Designer would be willing to work on some things for my site? We could work out an arrangement of some kind. Thanks!

  3. Glad to read this blog! Keep it going!

More than two weeks and no LINSANITY article — surely living in Hawaii you are experiencing more than the average US person…

    • I can’t get into it. I don’t know why. I must be the only person in the world who isn’t taken by him.
The only comment I have is that his nickname is a shame. He’ll forever be tied to Vinsanity (Carter). I think he’s made it enough that we should go with the one name nickname. “Jeremy.” He’s the only one. No one else owns that name, yet.

It’s like eating broccoli as a kid — you don’t necessarily have to like it (report on it), but you do have to eat it (acknowledge it). The sportswriting game — maybe your take is “why the hype?” while every other opinionated writer has bought in to the hyperbole you keep it low key — I dunno – my 2 cents…, but by all means get in the game
